GOOGLE LIGHTBOX AD
Using the interactive Google Lightbox, we targeted our potential audience with display ads highlighting the INFINITI Configurator – a great tool housed within infiniti.co.uk to assist in virtually building your ideal car. Focusing on the Q30 model, we started with a typical MPU/MREC asking the user "Which Q30 are you?". The idea here is to get the user thinking about their personality and the car to match.
Once someone interacts with the banner, it expands fullscreen revealing a set of sliders. At this point the user adjusts to best describe themselves. The placement of the sliders ultimately determines the car colour at the next phase.
CLICK TO PLAY. Acting as a stripped back version configurator, the user lands on an interactive catalogue of sorts and are free to explore the range of styles. On this screen there are plenty of opportunities to click through to the actual INFINITI Configurator and other helpful options.
INFINITI frequently partner with other brands to help expand their reach and take advantage of the leverage to grow. In this instance they partnered with Discovery. The story was centred around creating similarities with the natural world and the features of the Q30 model.
CLICK TO ENLARGE. A key social asset created was a Facebook Canvas ad – highly interactive, it acts like a microsite for the brand story. As the user swipes through, they learn about various features of the model. Visually there is a comparison to something from the natural world to help the user understand and absorb the technical information.
Housed within the existing infiniti.co.uk site, we created a dynamic car comparer tool. The insight was centred around the common human desire to browse before you buy.
Once a model was selected, the system would select competitor models for you to compare features with. All the top features are highlighted in an easy to scan table with the ability to quickly edit your choice of brand, model etc, much like any e-commerce/shopping product.
