See what a world-class experience looks like

Australians do a lot of travel to the USA, both for work and pleasure. To give them even more destinations to choose from, Qantas forged a new partnership with American Airlines. For customers, this means more flights, more US destinations and the return of American Airlines down under.

The challenge was extended beyond announcing the new alliance; we needed to show how American Airline’s new international fleet was a class above its domestic offering. 

The solution was to convey the new benchmark passengers could expect through drawing parallels between the two, showcasing both airlines side-by-side.

The site brought the end-to-end experience of both airlines to life side-by-side. Using a unique and inventive split screen animation, we created an immersive online experience that invited. Once customers ‘stepped aboard’, we showcased the journey along with some of the amazing destinations now on offer, coaxing them abroad with prompts to book.
